Dr Norwood has a particular clinical interest in muscle diseases and myasthenia gravis, and has specialist clinics at King’s College Hospital (Denmark Hill) and at Princess Royal Hospital (Farnborough Common), covering the South East region. Symptoms that might lead to referral include muscle weakness, wasting and cramps / twitching or a family history of a muscle disorder.
Dr Norwood also sees patients with the full range of general neurological disorders such as headache, sensory symptoms, tremor and seizures, working with colleagues in the relevant diagnostic disciplines to achieve a diagnosis and to define treatment options.
